Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana MP: Eligibility, Application Process & Benefits
Housing scheme providing pucca houses to poor and eligible families of Madhya Pradesh (as per official portal).
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Madhya Pradesh is implemented jointly by the state and central governments to provide affordable housing to all eligible households in the state. The scheme covers both urban and rural areas of MP. The state government supplements the central assistance with additional state-specific benefits to accelerate housing coverage in the state.
Families identified as houseless or living in kutcha houses in Madhya Pradesh are eligible. The scheme covers EWS, LIG and MIG categories in urban areas and all rural households listed in SECC 2011. Priority to SC, ST, OBC, minority communities and women-headed households. Beneficiaries should not own a pucca house anywhere in India.
Financial assistance of up to Rs 1.20-1.30 lakh for rural areas and interest subsidy of 3% to 6.5% on home loans for urban areas. The state government provides additional support for landless families by facilitating land allotment. Houses include basic amenities like toilet, electricity and water supply.
